Conveniently located less than 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul, Woodloch Stable is one of the largest boarding facilities in the Twin Cities metro area. We welcome all breeds and disciplines! With our two indoor arenas, outdoor arenas, jumping arena, one-mile track, and trails, we have plenty of space for most any equine activity. We're situated on 180 acres of fields, woods, and trails.

Woodloch Stable was founded by lifelong horseman Dan Ramberg. It's been a family-run business for over 25 years, with three generations of Rambergs living on site. That means you can count on consistent, quality care from experienced professionals—with a family touch.

Here at Woodloch, we pride ourselves on maintaining a relaxed, comfortable, and supportive learning environment. We have customers of all ages and experience levels. Everyone is welcome, from casual trail riders to serious competitors. Our experienced, friendly staff is available to make sure you get the help you need.

We also have a tack shop on site that carries everything from halters to show clothes.

Check out the new article, Choosing a Horse Trainer, by Melissa Harms.

Meet the newest member of Woodloch's Equine Team

Melissa (Mel) Harms recently joined Woodloch Stable to start and train western horses and students. For over 10 years, she has worked successfully training halter horses, reining horses, barrel and pole horses, and pleasure horses, as well as ranch riding horses. She has worked with and competed in the Wisconsin Foundation Quarter Horse association quite extensively, as well.

"Training horses and teaching safety practices is at the heart of my personal goals." Melissa says. "I'm very excited to meet everyone who calls Woodloch Stable their home". Mel will be taking care of our Woodloch customer's horse needs as well as accepting outside horses for training, from starting the colt to finishing the horse.

Tiny Tots Lessons!

Lessons are now available for children ages 3-6! If you're looking for something more structured than just a pony ride, our Tiny Tots lessons are a fun and inexpensive way to introduce young children to horses. Your child will work one-on-one with our instructor to learn basic grooming, leading, and riding skills on appropriately-sized ponies.

Lessons will last approximately 20 minutes, plus grooming time. Cost is $20. Regular time slots are available on weekends and weekdays by appointment. Please call Ingvill Ramberg directly at (651) 796-8179 to reserve your time. You can e-mail Ingvill at ingvill@woodlochstable.com.

Ingvill also offers mother/daughter lessons and tiny tot mini-daycamps. Please inquire for more details!
