Etta Langer Riding lessons, show coaching, western training
Etta started riding at Woodloch Stable when she was 10 years old. After riding, learning, and working at Woodloch for twelve years, Etta accepted an instructor position in November 2009. She now teaches group and private lessons. In May 2010, Etta graduated from Hamline University with her Bachelor's Degree in English. She enjoys working with riders of all ages and experience levels with both casual and competitive aspirations. Her goal is to help riders be confident, safe, creative, and passionate riders.
Etta enjoys trail-riding and showing in the pleasure events. She has three horses: Kola, George, and Lily. She has shown competitively in WSCA, 4H, ApHC and APHA. Her favorite events include: showmanship, hunt seat equitation, western horsemanship and trail (she loves any event with a pattern). For those students with a desire to show, Etta can introduce showing to the novice rider or help polish the experienced show competitor. She is available to trailer and coach at shows.

"I believe the cliché: 'The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man.' To me, horses have undeniable physical and emotional benefits. They teach patience, perseverance, ingenuity, and humility. I love sharing my passion for horses with others."
