Woodloch hosts several clinics throughout the year in various disciplines with world-renowned trainers. Riders from all over the world come to Woodloch to ride with Josh Lyons, Jim Hatch, Mel Harms-Grossman, Dom Schramm, Buster & Sheryl McLaury, Sinead Halpin, Yves Sauvignon, Becky Holder, and more.


2025 Clinics

May 23-24, 2025 – Ryan Wood Eventing Clinic

Help us welcome Ryan Wood to Minnesota in May! We will be working on stadium jumping on Friday 5/23 and cross-country on Saturday 5/24. This clinic is a great opportunity to work on skills in anticipation for the Woodloch Eventing Derby (May 25) along with additional prep for schooling shows and horse trials. Open to all ages and levels.

Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. If you would like to ride with more than 1 horse, you must fill out separate forms for each horse.

Pricing is as follows:
-Group jumping lesson, $175 each (I.e. $175 for 1 day, $350 for 2 days)
-Limited stalls available, $20/day (includes 1 load of shavings)
-Free trailer parking available (no electric hook-ups)

Current negative Coggins and 2025 liability waiver required. Please upload in the form prior to completing registration.

Past Clinics

June 22-23, 2023 – Robin Walker Eventing Clinic

We are excited to bring 5* eventer Robin Walker back to Woodloch for another Stadium and Cross-Country clinic, hosted Thursday, June 22nd and Friday, June 23rd.

Schedule– Stadium lessons will be held Thursday in the large outdoor arena and cross-country lessons will be held Friday on the cross country course.
Timing– The length of lesson will be as follows: Private = 45m, 2 People = 1hr, 3 People = 1hr15, 4 People = 1hr30
Refunds– No refunds unless the spot can be filled.
Safety– All riders must wear helmets that are ASTM SEI approved and appropriate clothing. If riding cross-country, riders must also be wearing an ASTM certified protective vest. In addition to this, riders cannot ride cross-country unless they have also ridden in a stadium lesson as well.
Stabling– There are Day ($35.00/day) and Overnight ($50.00/night) stalls available on the basis of first come first serve.
Trailering– Trailering is free and there will be ample room to park. No electric hook-ups.


September 14-17, 2023 – John Lyons 4-Day Clinic

Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to train with world-renowned clinician and America’s Most Trusted Horseman, John Lyons!

Come ride with John and learn better, safer, and easier methods to ride and communicate with your horse. Learn better shoulder, hip and head control made easy so you enjoy riding and are safer as well.

Only (9) riders per clinic and only $900 per rider.
Stabling and trailer parking/camping available, first come first served.


August 29-30, 2024 – Jimmie Schramm Eventing Clinic

We are thrilled to welcome 5* eventer Jimmie Schramm (Schramm Equestrian) back to Woodloch to teach two days of show jumping and cross-country lessons!

Schedule– Lessons will be held in our large outdoor jumping arena and/or the XC course
Timing- 1 person = 30m, 2 people = 1hr, 3 people = 1hr15m, 4 people = 1hr30m
Refunds– No refunds unless the spot can be filled.
Safety– All riders must wear helmets that are ASTM SEI approved and appropriate riding clothing. If riding cross-country, riders must also be wearing an ASTM certified protective vest. In addition to this, riders cannot ride cross-country unless they have also ridden in a stadium lesson as well.

October 12-13, 2024 – Brian Hafner Dressage Clinic

Ocala-based FEI dressage trainer Brian Hafner is returning to Woodloch for more private dressage lessons in October!

Schedule – Lessons will be held in our competition-sized outdoor dressage arena, or in our large indoor arena if there is inclement weather
Timing – 45m per lesson
Refunds – No refunds unless the spot can be filled
Safety – All riders must wear helmets that are ASTM/SEI-approved and appropriate riding clothing
Stabling– There are Day ($35.00/day) and Overnight ($50.00/night) stalls available, first come first served.
Trailering– Trailering is free and there will be ample room to park. No electric hook-ups.
